Every year La Trobe University does a great job of opening up to the outside world and showing people what its all about. The Electronic Engineering Department plays a major part on OPEN day with staff and students both involved in making it a entertaining and enjoyable day for all who visit.

This year’s OPEN day signified a change in setup with the EE department displays being re-located to the SEMS meeting room in Physical Sciences 1. It allowed all of our wonderful projects and displays to be located in a single large room. Meanwhile our course advisors were located in the Science Marquee.

The day saw a great turn out with reported figures indicating a rise in attendance in comparison to 2008.
